10 Aluminum Plates 11×14″ (29x36cm)
0 out of 5
150,00€
10 black lacquered aluminum plates. They come with a protective film to avoid scratches and dirt. Peel this plastic film, remove any dust particles that may have settled on the plate with a soft brush, and you are ready to pour your collodion.
It is important that the exact dimensions of the plates are specified when ordering. Most of us use modified film plate holders and the dimensions of the plates do not match the standard measurements. To ensure that you receive the right product we will need those measurements.
If you need a custom plate size fuming box, don't hesitate to ask: info@analoginside.com
IMPORTANT: Never activate silver baths with aluminium plates.

250ml Carbon Filtered Shellac varnish
0 out of 5
57,00€
250ml of shellac varnish. Shellac was one of the most commonly used varnishes for wet plate in the 19th century. This is the classical Shellac formula but filtered with activated carbon to lighten its color. The result is less darkening and a more similar color to the unvarnished plate.
Glossy finish, but a little less than sandarac rubber.
The use of alcohol based varnishes is suitable for freshly made collodion. If your plate has been shot with an old collodion we recommend you to choose an acrylic varnish to prevent dissolving the image. You could also seal your plate with a glass dome and Canada Balsam.
Our varnishes are sold in borosilicate glass bottles, which are easy to clean and more resistant than regular glass to impact and temperature changes.
If you have trouble with this varnish dissolving your images, adding a few ml of distilled water to the varnish could solve this problem.

1l cold tones developer (metallic)
0 out of 5
12,00€
1l liter of wet plate developer: Ferrous sulfate, nitric acid and potassium nitrate. This developer wil produce images with a more controlled contrast and cooler, more metallic tones. It is recommended to add a few drops of the silver nitrate bath to the developer just before pouring it on to the plate if we want to increase the metallic effect of the developer
All our developers are mixed at the time the order is placed. In general, it is convenient to use the wet collodion developers as "fresh" as possible.
