The Calotype Process was invented by William Henry Fox Talbot. In this process, a waxed paper negative is obtained which will be later contact printed on a salted paper to obtain a positive image. It is a complex process that requires a lot of patience and care to achieve good results.

It is a two-day workshop in which we will learn how to make both: wet and dry calotypes. We will then print those negatives on salted paper.

The workshop is two full days (Saturday and Sunday): 10:00-14:00h and 16:00-20:00 and we will deal with topics such as
- Types of paper suitable for both: wet and dry process
- Salting calotype formulas
- Waxing method
- Developing the negatives
- Gold toned salted paper prints
