Joaquín Paredes will give a workshop on wet collodion from Analog Inside's studio in Cáceres. All the necessary knowledge will be given to start in wet collodion with enough security and ability for the student to be able to develop autonomously after the course.
To attend the workshop no previous knowledge of laboratory or large format cameras is required.

Gelatin-Bromide is a photographic process created in 1871 by Richard Leach Maddox and improved in 1873 by J. Johnson who introduced the washing of the emulsion and later by the work of Charles Harper Bennett who perfected heat maturation to increase sensitivity. By the late 1970s and early 1980s, dry gelatine plate had almost completely displaced wet collodion, thus solving most of the disadvantages of this process.

Wet collodion workshop: Joaquin Paredes will give a workshop at the School of Art of Huesca on April 27, 28, 29 and 30.
This workshop will take place in four afternoons from 15:30 to 19:30. It is an immersion in the process in which all the necessary knowledge will be imparted in order to start in the wet collodion with enough security and ability so that the student can develop in an autonomous way after the course.
