Fixers are freshly mixed when we receive your order. It’s recommended to use a small volume of fixer for each plate or couple of plates; then discard it and store it for recycling.
1000ml of 4% USP collodion. Plain collodion is a mix of 99% alcohol, ether and nitrocellulose.

All our developers are mixed at the time the order is placed. In general, it is convenient to use the wet collodion developers as "fresh" as possible.
10 black lacquered aluminum plates. They come with a protective film to avoid scratches and dirt. Peel this plastic film, remove any dust particles that may have settled on the plate with a soft brush, and you are ready to pour your collodion.
It is important that the exact dimensions of the plates are specified when ordering. Most of us use modified film plate holders and the dimensions of the plates do not match the standard measurements. To ensure that you receive the right product we will need those measurements.
