1l liter of wet plate developer: Ferrous sulfate, nitric acid and potassium nitrate. This developer wil produce images with a more controlled contrast and cooler, more metallic tones. It is recommended to add a few drops of the silver nitrate bath to the developer just before pouring it on to the plate if we want to increase the metallic effect of the developer
All our developers are mixed at the time the order is placed. In general, it is convenient to use the wet collodion developers as "fresh" as possible.
1l of “hypo” fixer (sodium thiosulfate) for wet plate collodion.
Fixers are freshly mixed when we receive your order. It’s recommended to use a small volume of fixer for each plate or couple of plates; then discard it and store it for recycling.
